Where to place the spotlights in a pool?

Playing with the location of the spotlights we can achieve different lighting effects, which will give us aesthetic or functional improvements depending on the use we want to give our pool. Here are some general recommendations and examples:

Pool near home

If the pool is near our house, it would be convenient to place the spotlights facing away from the residence to avoid glare.

Roman stair lighting

By placing spotlights on the opposite side of the pool’s Roman steps, we achieve the effect that it is perfectly illuminated.

Competition pool

In competition pools, the optimal placement could be on the sides of the pool. In this way, we achieve complete and uniform lighting of the pool as well as avoiding possible dazzling of the swimmers.
