India pacer Renuka Singh has been ICC Emerging Women’s Cricketer of the Year 2022. The star fast bowler defeated Australia’s Darcie Brown, England’s Alice Capsey and compatriot Yastika Bhatia for the honour. Renuka picked 18 ODI wickets at an average of 14.88 and economy of 4.62 last year, while she scalped 22 T20I wickets at an average of 23.95 and economy rate of 6.50 in 2022. Good use of seam alongside getting swing from the ball makes Renuka a tough bowler to face.
